Where to look for Fossils Bognor Regis?


(The London Clay is not very often exposed) - 2004

Sadly, Bognor Regis doesn't get scoured out very often, but when it does the beach is rich in fossils. The actual London Clay Formation stretches for 4km along the coastline at Bognor Regis. The Beetle beds are to the West. On the right conditions, it is best to walk along at low tide and simply pick up fossils along your way.
